The event features six significant baths, including three nectar baths. The first nectar bath alone saw more than 3.5 crore people participating. Both Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi will take a dip at the Triveni Sangam, a highly spiritual location, after which they are expected to seek the blessings of Shankaracharya and saints. The Congress leaders will also visit the Congress Seva Dal camp at the Kumbh, marking their participation in this significant religious event.

Naga Sadhu's know how to deal nonsense perfectly.

State Congress General Secretary Mukund Tiwari confirmed their plans, emphasizing that the Gandhi family’s involvement in the Maha Kumbh is a long-standing tradition. Tiwari also expressed hopes for peace and prosperity through prayers at the Triveni Sangam, particularly asking for an end to the growing hatred in the country.

However, some saints have voiced concerns over the political motivations behind their visit. Mahamandaleshwar Swami Prakashanand Ji Maharaj of Aahvan Akhara welcomed the Gandhis if their intentions were rooted in faith but cautioned that any political undertones could tarnish the spiritual experience. Swami Premanand Ji Maharaj of Niranjani Akhara also advised the leaders to come with genuine faith rather than to display political symbols like janeu (sacred thread) and tilak, warning that such actions could undermine the sanctity of the event. The saints reiterated that the Kumbh Mela is a land of virtue, and any political motives could backfire, with Swami Premanand predicting that the Congress party’s efforts could falter if they approached the sacred occasion with a political agenda.

POWER CORRIDORS

Former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu commended Power Corridors as a commendable news magazine, affirming that it not only upholds Media Dharma but also fulfills its societal obligations. Power Corridors, as its name implies, delves into realpolitik—examining the essence of influential circles, unraveling the intricacies of political maneuvers, and exploring the pulse of the state’s affairs. However, it transcends mere power dynamics, encompassing a broader spectrum of issues beyond the confines of Delhi’s elite circles.

For PC, which is published by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy, not only highlights the issues of the day but also throws up what ought to be the subjects that the country should be debating about. It reports about the plans, strategies, and agendas of politicians and others; it also sets the agenda for the nation.
