Psychic Claims to Have Predicted LA Wildfires, Warns of Troubling 2025
Athos Salomé, a Brazilian self-proclaimed psychic often referred to as the “Living Nostradamus,” has issued a stark warning about the remainder of 2025. Known for his controversial predictions, including claims of foreseeing Covid-19, Queen Elizabeth II’s death, and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Salomé now says he predicted the devastating Los Angeles wildfires as early as 2023, according to the Daily Star.
The ongoing wildfires have claimed at least 11 lives, forced thousands to evacuate, and destroyed entire neighborhoods across Los Angeles. Strong winds forecasted for the coming days threaten to escalate the crisis, turning an already dire situation even more catastrophic.
Salomé originally predicted the fires would occur in 2024 but missed the mark by just one week, as the disaster began on January 7, 2025. “From Tuesday, January 7, 2025, the city of Los Angeles has been experiencing its worst-ever wildfires. The flames, driven by strong winds, have destroyed thousands of hectares of land, razed properties, and forced tens of thousands of people to flee their homes,” Salomé told The Daily Star.

He added, “This is why local authorities have called the situation ‘uncontrollable,’ and environmentalists warn that similar catastrophes may become more frequent due to climate change.”
Predictions Beyond the Fires
Reflecting on his alleged accuracy, Salomé claimed his prophecy was “100% precise.” He stated that in December 2023, he had warned of a “sharp rise in global catastrophes connected to fire” beginning in 2024, specifically pointing to California as a focal point of these disasters.
Salomé also shared a chilling vision for the rest of 2025. “If, God forbid, my visions persist to come true, the future will be even more troublesome. For 2025, I foresee events related to the economy and technology that may radically transform humanity’s way of life. The recent fires in California are an inflammable wake-up call on climate change and the urgent need for disaster risk reduction plans.”
Similar Predictions and Global Concerns
Salomé’s predictions align with growing concerns among climate scientists and meteorologists who warn that extreme weather events, including wildfires, hurricanes, and droughts, are likely to become more frequent and severe due to global warming. The psychic further hinted that 2025 could witness economic turbulence and technological upheavals, echoing fears about the intersection of climate crises with societal and infrastructural vulnerabilities.
While Salomé’s claims remain unverifiable, his dire warnings have sparked conversations about the urgency of climate resilience and the unpredictability of global disasters. With the LA fires serving as a grim reminder, experts stress the need for enhanced disaster preparedness and sustainable strategies to combat the growing impact of climate change.
