Allu Arjun’s crowd-puller makes a splash in the record books! After breaking all records on Day 1 as the largest Indian opener ever, the film surpassed Rs 400 crore globally in just two days. The Telugu action drama helmed by Sukumar is the sequel to the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise.
As per initial estimates, Pushpa 2 has exceeded the Rs 400 crore gross milestone globally, with a two-day net total of Rs 265 crore (India). The remarkable collections showcase the great admiration and enthusiasm for Allu Arjun’s role as Pushpa Raj.
As per Sacnilk, the movie earned approximately Rs 90.1 crore net in India on its second day, following the setting of multiple records on its first day.
On its debut, Pushpa 2 ascended to the peak of the Indian box office, overtaking Rajamouli’s RRR to secure first place. It surpassed blockbusters such as Baahubali 2 and KGF 2 and even emerged as the largest Hindi release, exceeding last year’s Jawan.

Pushpa 2, launched in various languages, experienced high occupancy in all versions on its second day. In Telugu, the movie recorded an overall occupancy of 53 per cent, while in Hindi, it stood at 51.65 per cent. Tamil recorded a 38.52 percent occupancy, Kannada had 35.97 percent, and Malayalam registered 27.30 percent.
Pushpa 2: The Rule solidifies Allu Arjun’s position as the leading star of 2024. Helmed by Sukumar, the movie explores further into the gripping tale of Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood trafficker confronting increasing obstacles.
