After battling cancer, producer Krishan Kumar’s daughter Tishaa Kumar passed away on July 18. On Tuesday, July 23, in Mumbai, her prayer meeting was held. Singing legend Sonu Nigam, attended the prayer meet and was spotted sobbing uncontrollably. Tishaa’s father consoled him.
Sonu sits on the ground and cries unconsolably
In a viral video, Sonu Nigam is seen greeting Krishan Kumar, then sitting on the ground, sobbing, and putting his head in his lap. The video also featured singers Shaan and Udit Narayan attending the prayer meet.
Krishan Kumar is the cousin of T-Series owner Bhushan Kumar.

Netizens get emotional after watching the video
Fans reacted to the video. One user commented, “Sonu is crying coz Sonu and T-series had differences. Cold War chal raha tha. Still, he forgot the past and came here to support them during their bad time when they lost their 20-year-old kid (sic).”
Another user wrote, “These Lockdown kids don’t even know the relationship between Sonu Nigam and T-Series. It was Gulshan Kumar who gave him a lot of opportunities. Though Sonu was talented, there are a lot of talented people jinhe support ni milta industry se. Itne saal sath kaam karne ke baad sÄñrf Professional rishte ni bante (sic).”
Tishaa was undergoing cancer treatment in Germany
Tishaa was undergoing cancer treatment in Germany when she died. She was born on September 6, 2003, to Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh.
Tishaa had few public appearances, but she was occasionally spotted at T-Series film screenings. Her most recent public appearance occurred on November 30, 2023, at the premiere of Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’.
