Shraddha Kapoor launches trailer of ‘Stree 2’; stuns in red silk saree
Shraddha Kapoor launched the trailer for ‘Stree 2’ on Thursday, donning a red silk saree. The actor wore a saree designed by Masaba Gupta that cost Rs 22,000.
Its elaborate craftsmanship includes golden weaving and a ‘kinari’ border, which were precisely made to give it the appearance of a heritage piece of elegance. Shraddha nailed her outfit, and the bold red colour was justified given the film’s theme. What other colour could better characterize a ‘stree’ than red!

Shraddha paired her saree with medium-sized gold jhumkis, sleek bangles, and a long braid, all of which were inspired by her character in the movie. She kept her makeup basic, using a touch of neutral lipstick and kohl-ed eyelids. Instead of a neckpiece, the actor donned a large dramatic nosepin. However, her saree certainly stole the show.
Saree is named ‘Red Haath Phool Saree’ as per the designer’s website
The designer’s website describes the saree as the ‘Red Haath Phool Saree’, which is made of Jacquard silk fabric. It also includes a ‘Trikone’ and ‘Anar zari’ border, as well as an embroidered border with ‘gota silai’.

This was Shraddha’s first promotional appearance for the film. The red silk saree sets the foundation for the actor’s future traditional/fusion appearances.
In ‘Stree 2’, she wears suits and long ethnic skirts with kurtas or cotton shirts, all of which are nicely adorned with silver jewellery. The actor’s personal style is rather straightforward. When she is not working, she frequently wears cotton anarkalis in pink and white.
Shraddha also prefers to dress casually, wearing a basic t-shirt and well-fitted denim.
