The Skillhub Online Games Federation (SOGF) has announced the appointment of Gursharan Singh as its new Secretary General. Gursharan Singh’s leadership and dedication have been widely recognized by the Government of India and Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Singh had met with PM Modi, Shri Anurag Thakur (the then Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs), Kiren Rijiju (the then Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs), and Smt. Deepa Malik (the then Chairperson of the Paralympic Committee of India) to discuss the scope of Paralympics and sports in India. These discussions highlighted the significant impact of Singh’s contributions to the field of sports in India.
Gursharan Singh also had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Rudi Van Den Abbeelle, President of World Ability Sports, where he outlined the ambitious strides SOGF is taking to position India as a global sporting powerhouse.
In recognition of his important contribution to the development of the Indian Paralympics, Gursharan Singh was honoured with the Power Corridors Indian Achievers Award.
