Actor Saif Ali Khan was discharged from Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday after undergoing treatment for several days. The actor was hospitalized on January 16 after a traumatic event in which he was stabbed during a burglary attempt at his home in the early morning.
Earlier today, Dr. Nitin Dange from Lilavati Hospital told the media that Saif is anticipated to be released between 10 am and 12 pm. The actor’s relatives, such as his mother Sharmila Tagore and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, among others, were at the hospital. An image of the actor departing from the hospital grounds in a black Porsche was released.
In numerous photos, the actor, wearing a neat white shirt and blue jeans, appears to be arriving at his home in Mumbai, sporting a bandage on his arm.
Last week, Saif Ali Khan was viciously assaulted at his Bandra home, Satguru Sharan, where an attacker stabbed him around six times. He was taken to the hospital at 2:30 am and had two surgeries to treat his injuries. Lilavati Hospital subsequently disclosed an image of the 3-inch-long piece of a sharp object involved in the attack.
