Edtech Physics Wallah (PW) introduced several technological initiatives to improve learning and make it more engaging, effective, and personalized at its flagship Vishwas Diwas event. Adopting the theme “Padhai Ka Naya Andaaz,” the introduction of PW 2.0—a futuristic and tech-savvy approach that focuses on improving student outcomes through advanced technology—is at the heart of this initiative.
PW Revolutionizes Education with “Padhai Ka Naya Andaaz” Initiative and Alakh AI Integration
PW announced discounts of up to 80% on practically all of its online courses in conjunction with these launches to improve access to high-quality education for students who are unable to pay course fees.
PW’s CEO and founder Alakh Pandey said, “’Padhai Ka Naya Andaaz’ is more than a theme; it is our commitment to provide a learning experience that transcends traditional boundaries, making education more personalised, effective, and engaging for every student. These initiatives are a testament to our belief in the transformative power of education and our commitment to empowering students with the tools they need to succeed.”
Since its December 2023 launch, the company said that “Alakh AI” has drawn in over 1.5 million users. AI Guru, a 24/7 personal AI tutor and assistant created to customize the learning experience to each student’s needs, is part of the locally developed tech suite. The one-stop shop can handle a wide range of student inquiries, including those that are academic, non-academic, product- or support-related. This guarantees that students see it as a reliable resource, enhancing their understanding of fundamental ideas and promoting their mental health.

Students can ask questions in text, picture, or voice, and they will get answers in both text and video formats. The tool has a 94% satisfaction rate for academic inquiries and answers the majority of doubts in real-time, which is a significant improvement over the previous 10-hour turnaround time. Compared to the company’s current product, “ask doubt,” the AI tutor has three times more engagements and has already gained over 1.5 million students as users.
PW also offers Study Sahayak, a tool that helps students with individualized learning that includes features like adaptive practices, customized revision, and backlog clearing. It is up to the students to choose what they need to learn, including which chapters and subjects to study.
Study Sahayak creates individualized learning plans for each student based on these selections. To assist students in their learning process, personalized content recommendations are offered, including videos and practice questions.

PW claimed to have increased the effectiveness of digital learning on its platform by reducing data consumption by an astounding 80–90% while keeping lecture length constant. This development makes it possible for students to participate in more lectures while staying within the parameters of their current data packages, so they can maximize their learning without having to worry about going over data allotment. Increased learning opportunities and better access to extra educational content are made possible by the increased data efficiency.
Additionally, the edtech developed an Android launcher called “LearnOS Tapasya Mode” with the goal of reducing students’ exposure to digital distractions. It lets users to block distracting apps for a predetermined amount of time, which facilitates concentrated study sessions by removing potentially distracting apps. Pupils can compete on leaderboards, earn badges, and use streaks to monitor their progress.
